Why can't first-time guests book directly?
Airbnb provides host protection insurance for both of us. Until we've met and you've stayed once, booking through Airbnb makes sure everyone's covered. After that, we can skip the middleman.
How much do I save booking directly?
Airbnb charges service fees to both guests and hosts. When you book directly, those fees disappear. The exact savings depend on your dates, but it's typically 10-15% less than the Airbnb price.
How do I pay?
After Wendy confirms your dates, you'll receive a secure payment link. Simple and straightforward -- no accounts to create, no passwords to remember.
What's the cancellation policy?
Flexible. Life happens -- especially when you're planning a trip to Costa Rica. Wendy will share the specific terms when she confirms your booking, but the goal is to be fair to everyone.
